Why I Hate Daytime Radio

Let me get this straight. I find Chris Moyles and Scott Mills hilarious. They are some of my favourite radio shows. However, I find the music play on their shows and all the other shows from 7till7 intolerable.

One - Overplaying

They do this all the bloody time. As soon as I hear a decent song, they play it on every single show. For example, Stronger by Kanye West. I thought it was brilliant the first time I heard it on Tim Westwood's show. Ingenious sampling. Great beat. Kanye had finally become a good lyricists. I then hear it over and over again on daytime shows and now I cannot bear it. Why Radio 1....why? You've ruined a brilliant song

Two - They Play Rubbish EDM

EDM (Electronic Dance Music) is my favourite genre. It has some brilliant songs and it's quite exciting at the moment. The minimal/glitch/micro scene is creating some of the best songs in years. However, we don't hear any on the radio. Instead we hear Basshunter......why? However, I'll give credit to Radio 1 for Pete Tong's "In New Music We Trust" and Friday nights. That's when the best music is played all week. However, they play crap EDM on all the others shows.

Truth

I was having a discussion with my R.E teacher about truth. He was talking about the different types of truth. Scientific, moral, historical and religious. While I was listening, I noticed certain holes in this concept. He says that we can never define the actual truth because each of the four types of truth has a flaw.

Science theories become out of date relatively quickly as a newer, better theory comes along. Moral is based on your consciousness and what you have been taught so we all have different truths. Historical turth could be biased and some contradict each other and religious is based on your own belief.

I was thinking about this and I thought this must be wrong. How can there be different truths. Only one thing can be possible, so there must be a Definite Truth. For example, there are many theories about the universe. Some beleive that paralel univers are their, and have evidence for and their is also eveidence for their being no paralel universes. My RE teachers says that nether can and cannot be true because their is evidence for both. However, my theory states that only one can be true. There must be a Definite Truth to the problem. The only trouble we have, is finding the Definite Truth.
